A Day in our Cooking Class - from the Souk to Table

Imagine wandering through a vibrant Moroccan souk, hand-picking fresh herbs and colorful produce, then stepping into a serene riad kitchen where the secrets of tajine, couscous, and zaalouk come to life. It’s not just about cooking – it’s about connecting with culture, tradition, and people through the universal language of food.

The Morning at the Local Market

First of all you will be welcomed by Fatiha or Bouchra, your chef and will be shown around the modern kitchen, which is located just a 5 Mins walk from the famous Jema Fna. Once all the guests have arrived, you will be handed a basket to transport the ingredients from the local market.

You will dive into the world of colors, odors and will learn the secrets about how to choose the best vegetables for the Moroccan Dishes you will prepare in this traditional Moroccan cooking class at Flavors of Marrakech.
